Apra lost her fight agaist cancer with metastasis to the liver and abdomen. She passed away very peacefully and in no pain, she purred until the very end. She was about three years old. She was found on the street a couple of years ago, pregnant and skinny, yet she had an extremely large belly. After her spay surgery we all moved to the sheter. She didn’t feel well and a visit to the vet revealed she had megacolon so she underwent surgery and her intestines were emptied of their contents. Last year she grew worse and had to have surgery again. Her entire colon was removed and it also turned out her tail had been broken and she had a bullet in her thigh. Her tail remained limp and she couldn’t feel it. She was very cuddly, affectionate and sweet, she loved everyone.
