Lizan was rescued at the age of six months, distrustful, skittish and scared. He was diagnosed with serious urinary tract problems and bladder stones right after Danica took him in. A urinary catheter had to be inserted into his bladder at one point and he has undergone three surgeries over the years. He needed to eat special urinary food and he was also allergic to fleas. Talkative and very loud, he got along well with the other cats, loved kittens and enjoyed playing with them. He died peacefully at the age of 14 in November 2014.
