Maggie was brought to CSF from the neighborhood, together with her brother Keith, in June 2013. She couldn’t even open her eyes before she arrived here, they were horribly infected, glued shut with pus and her eyelids were swollen, red and inflamed. It was impossible to discover if she even had eyes or if she had already lost them because of the infection which wasn’t treated in time. The vet wasn’t very optimistic when he diagnosed her with severe herpes and Chlamydia infection – he said she would survive but her eyesight might remain seriously damaged. Luckily, that wasn’t the case – Maggie managed to recover and grew into a sweet kitty girl, but she was very delicate and repeatedly kept getting ill.
Maggie passed away in March 2015. She just fell asleep and never woke up.
