Speki was rescued from Etela’s shelter that burned to the ground and sent to some wild “shelter” near Belgrade together with two other cats. They arrived here three months later, scared, sick and emaciated. Speki had worms, fleas, mange, some fungal disease and a swollen infected castration wound, so he underwent surgery again. He had blurred vision in his right eye, probably caused by an old injury and swollen lymph nodes as well. He’s gained a lot of weight since he arrived at the shelter and was incredibly cuddly and sweet. He had FLUTD and liver problems. Suddenly and unexpectedly, he passed away in July 2014. His age was unknown.
