Poli was rescued from the street as a kitten in autumn 2011, together with her sister Esca. When they were found, Poli was injured and couldn’t walk – she had probably been hit by a car. She was able to hold onto her hind legs a little bit, probably due to pain she felt every time she tried to get up. A visit to the vet revealed she had a broken hip but she recovered completely without surgery. Poli is lovable and cuddly. She gets along well with other cats. In spite of her temporary handicap, she’s always been adventurous and fearless. When she was taken to be spayed, it turned out she had a huge tumor and she almost bled to death. She is doing just fine and enjoys her life here at CSF.
